Why Choose Us?

About the School

Our aim is to provide the best education in equine nursing, through tuition delivered by teachers with decades of clinical experience and expertise.

We can do this because of our origins, as a joint collaboration between Liphook Equine Hospital – one of the most extensive and well-equipped equine hospitals in the country – and VetPartners, a veterinary group focused on supporting the profession.

We offer the opportunity for trainee nurses to study for a Level 3 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing (Equine), a two year course that will prepare you for a career in specialist equine nursing, regulated by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. We ask that candidates only apply if they are currently working in a practice that either is an approved equine Training Practice, or is aiming to become one. You will also need to hold five GCSEs, C/4 or above, including maths, science and English.

Our nursing school was established because we believe that qualified vets and nurses, who are passionate about passing on their experience and skills, are best placed to offer comprehensive learning and to prepare you for a successful and fulfilling career.

With the facilities and expertise of Liphook Equine Hospital and the support of the VetPartners structure, we believe VetPartners Nursing School is in a perfect position to deliver that.
